About Me
Roy West is a lifelong Texan. He was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from Lamar University with an undergraduate degree and Southern Methodist University with a Master’s. Roy worked as a Houston Police Office in the 1980’s after he graduated from Lamar University. Previous to getting in the mortgage business, he was an owner and partner in a local security guard and security alarm company. Roy has over 25 years experience as a business owner and working for the public.
Roy is a licensed Mortgage Banker in Texas. He has been a multi-million dollar producer in the mortgage business since 2004.
Roy believes it is important to give back to the community and serves on several local community and charitable board of directors. He is active in his church and has two grown children. He enjoys exercise and plays tennis regularly. Roy loves Lamar University Football and Basketball.
